After gaining his degree in Business Management at the University of Cologne, Marcus Meyer joined the Treuhand Agency as Head of HR at Chemnitz, entrusted with the responsibility to support the managing directors and directors of former state-owned Volkseigene Betriebe. Upon joining Kienbaum & Partner, Marcus Meyer fulfilled his ambitions to become an HR consultant. His career in the industry included further appointments at KornFerry International and Deininger Unternehmensberatung, as well as a number of years on “the other side”, acting as the head of HR at a logistics service provider.

After completing his business management and publishing degree at the University of Bielefeld and the Free University of Berlin, Friedrich Loock launched his career as policy advisor for Berlin’s senate department for economy and labour, before completing his training as Senior Consultant with partners of the Arthur D. Little consultancy firm. As a Public Affairs officer of the Deutsche Lufthansa AG, he moved to Frankfurt to take charge of Lufthansa’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) programme. In 1994, he was appointed as professor for public management in Berlin, followed by an appointment to the chair of culture and media management (KMM) in Hamburg in 1998. Until 2015, he had been working as the Director of the eponymous institute in the Free and Hanseatic City.

Volker Rieso

After completing his law degree at the University of Cologne, Volker Rieso began his career as a consultant at one of Germany’s largest independent, owner-managed HR consultancies in 1991, before being appointed as Partner at Roland Berger International HR Consulting in 2000. Since his decision to join Deininger Unternehmensberater as a Managing Partner and subsequent work as a Managing Director at one of the largest global HR consultancy firms, he has built up a track record of several hundred successful top-level executive search assignments for German and international businesses.




Portrait Ralf Mock

Ralf Mock

Ralf Mock began his professional career at Linde AG. After his business management studies in Hamburg and Cologne he took over various international management duties in the materials handling, refrigeration and technical gas division. He became member of the executive team and Director of Marketing for the Linde Group. After moving to Villeroy & Boch AG, Ralf Mock was responsible for the company’s tableware division as member of the executive board. In his subsequent work for NACCO Materials Handling Group, Ralf Mock was Managing Director for the Group’s materials handling operations in the EMEA region, with manufacturing sites in the U.K., the Netherlands, and Italy.

Astrid Meyer

Astrid Meyer studied macroeconomics and business management at the Universities of Bonn and Cologne, before beginning her professional career in research for high-profile HR consulting firms after a brief hiatus building and managing her family. She has been working as a coach for the municipal Entwicklungs- und Betriebsgesellschaft der Stadt Bocholt for the past 10 years. At Meyer & Söhne, she is in charge of executive development services. As an Adlerian individual psychological consultant and encouraging trainer, she assists companies with their HR development concepts and advises individual clients on their professional plans and concerns.

 

Portrait Daniel Iczek

Daniel Iczek

After completing his economics science degree at the Ruhr University of Bochum as a graduate economist, Daniel Iczek began his professional career initially as an Analyst and later Account Manager for industrial clients at Google Deutschland GmbH. He then moved on to become a Senior Consultant at the global consulting firm Michael Page International, where he was responsible for sales & marketing and engineering & manufacturing positions in the firm's high-tech, healthcare, consumer goods, and manufacturing sector operations. In this function, he supported companies with comprehensive HR consulting services, ranging from initial commissioning to the candidates’ eventual appointment.

 

Portrait Dorothee König

Dorothee König

Dorothee König began her career as a children’s and young fashion trainee at Karstadt AG, working in procurement at the company’s Essen headquarters. She completed a diploma degree in educational science with a focus on consulting at the University of Münster while raising her family. Inspired by two proponents of individual psychology among her lecturers, she became passionate about individual psychological consulting and explored its potential for consulting practice in her diploma research. Since finishing her degree, she has been active both as a trainer in health education and as a coach for the municipal development and management company of the city of Bocholt. As part of the team of Meyer und Söhne, she supports the firm as an individual psychological consultant and encouraging trainer and advises executives in their professional environments.
